Chronic hip pain has a devastating impact on quality of life.

We see people daily who are affected with hip pain and are choosing to avoid activities they once enjoyed.  Ongoing discomfort often leads to social isolation and depression. Now there is a new treatment that may be right for you.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a natural approach that help to reduce hip joint pain and improve function. This in-office, same day procedure is completed in as little as 60 minutes.

The process involves taking a blood sample from your arm and spinning it in a centrifuge. The spinning process removes blood platelets from the sample. Once separated, the platelets are injected at the site of injury or irritation using guided ultrasound. No sedation is required and you can drive home immediately.

So, how does PRP work? The answer can be found in the blood sample. When your concnetrated platelets are injected back into your body at the site of injury, the platelets break down and release human growth factor. It is the growth factor that results in a reduction of your pain and improves your function.

Once the body completes the process of improving, you’ll be back to the activities you love.
