Spine Pain

Low back pain is the most common thing we treat.  There’s no simple answer.  We’ll take a thorough history to find out what type of back pain you might be having (we can tell a lot just by listening to your story).  Then we’ll examine you to determine what treatment is required.  It may include electrical stimulation, ice or heat, manipulation of the joints, massage of the muscles, or IMS and acupuncture.  Almost always though, it will involve some type of exercise – to get your back moving better, to reduce pressure on your discs, to change your posture, or to make your back muscles work properly.

Mid back pain is very different than low back pain.  If your pain is below the neck, but above your low back, then we’ll take a close look at your ribs and thoracic spine.  Getting your mid back is shape again may require different types of treatment, but again will almost always involve learning some exercises to do at home.
